Handle cash transactions with customers,scan goods and collect payments, issue receipts, refunds,change of tickets,counting,scanning of customer purchased items from the supermarket

Redeem stamps and coupons, make sales refund,cross sell products and introduce new ones,resolves customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information.

Greet customers when entering or leaving the supermarket, maintain,clean and tidy checkout areas,keep reports of transactions bag,box or wrap packages and pleasantly deal with customer to ensure satisfaction.

Cashier's are signed at register they are in charge for all or part of their shift,they must count the money they start with and then count the money they end of the shift,to ensure they have the amount they should.

Using special scanner  to perform function of ringing up items customer wants to buy,customers purchasing alcohol or tobacco related products have together their ID's checked by the supermarket cashier's.

A clear understanding of accounting ethnics,accuracy in processing of cash transactions.A high level of personal integrity, honesty and transparency in all cash handling is absolutely essential.

Ability to work under pressure, eye to details,and calm,prepares receipt, reconcile and balance account,knowledge of basic selling, negotiation and numerical skills,developing and Maintaining cash points.

Ensure product availability, visibility, volume,margin quality and retail pricing are properly implemented and monitored,system control and reposition of reports directly to the cash supervisor,work regularly to ensure sales and customer service is performed in accurate with the supermarket plans and policies.

Responsibile for the financial position for investment decisions, processing and evaluating budgets and other financial related activity of the supermarket, Ability to approach customers in an good manner is also key.

Bsc/HND in Business Administration, Accounting or equivalent.

Proven working experience in retail cashier or sales with basic knowledge and familiarity with electronic equipment such as scanners,money counters.

Strong communication and time management skills, customer satisfaction oriented, attention to details and Mathematical skills.

Self confidence, ability to handle pressure, good communication skills and interpersonal skills, strong numerical and analytical skills,experience working with data systems.

Working practical knowledge of Microsoft world such as Excel,Word and PowerPoint
